Steve King is a co-founder and active principal in Savannah Developers serving in the capacity of President overseeing all acquisition, development, construction and financial activities. Steve graduated from Louisiana State University with a BS in Construction Technology and began his career in the Dallas area with Centex in the early 1980’s. Prior to Savannah, his corporate career spanned 15 years providing a broad range of experience that led to a division president position with Weyerhaeuser in the Northern Virginia market. There, he had profit and loss responsibility for over $100 million in annual revenue in land development and homebuilding.
Over his career, Steve has been involved in the design, development, construction and sales of various single family, multifamily, condominium, townhome, student housing and medical office projects totaling more than $3 billion.
Timm Baumann is an active principal in Savannah Developers serving in the capacity of CFO and Director of Real Estate with day to day responsibilities including, but not limited to, strategic planning, lot and land acquisition, finance and capital management, bank and investor relations, and in-house legal. Timm graduated from Central Michigan University with a BBA in Accounting and Finance.
Timm started his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Young, one of the world’s largest accounting firms. Timm has extensive experience in executive management and strategy development and has provided companies with business consulting services in the areas of management, corporate finance, tax, and merger & acquisitions. Subsequently, his career included serving as the Executive Director of OutSourcing Solutions, a leading national provider of state and local tax solutions, Chief Financial Officer/Director of Strategic Planning of SA Telecommunications, Inc., a publicly traded telecommunications company, and Senior Vice President of Allen Energy Company, an oil and gas service and production company. Timm co-founded American Cellular Services, U.S., a wireless telecommunication company, in 1988, and sold the company in 1992 to Contel Cellular, a subsidiary of GTE.
Over his career, Timm has been extensively involved in real estate and has worked closely with the City of Dallas, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. Mr. Baumann is a Certified Public Accountant and an alumnus of Ernst & Young.
Dave Williams is a co-founder and active principal in Savannah Developers serving in the capacity of Executive Vice President overseeing construction activities and engineering, land development, product development and value engineering, hard cost budgets, estimating, subcontractor acquisition, warranty administration, hire and managing project managers, and building permit acquisition. Dave graduated from University of Kansas with a BA and began his career with Ryland Homes in the late 1970’s. Prior to Savannah, his corporate career spanned over 35 years providing a broad range of experience including a Division Construction Manager at Sovereign Homes, a Division Construction Manager at Ryland Homes, and a Regional Construction Manager at Fairfield Homes.
Over his career, Dave has been involved in the design, development and construction of various single family, multifamily, condominium, townhome, student housing and medical office developments.
Kevin Murphree joined the Savannah team in 2007 and as the production manager and is responsible for all day-to-day onsite construction activities, enforcing schedules, supervising construction efforts, and solving problems, including conducting routine inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications and codes.
Prior to Savannah, Kevin was a project manager with Lennar Homes from 2003 to 2007. He was responsible for supervising, coordinating and managing all residential home construction in the community assigned. Principal duties and responsibilities included scheduling and supervising daily trade partner activities in accordance with job schedules and scopes of work; planning and scheduling all construction activities on homes from start to finish in assigned community.
