The Residences at University

Texas A&M University students will now have the opportunity to live at the West Gate of campus which will be transformed with university expansion and new development in the years to come.  The property is adjacent to Valley Park Center which houses the A&M Office of Sponsored Research, the Texas Transportation Institute and the Texas Engineering Experiment Station.  The property is within the Bio-Corridor and adjacent to the Texas A&M University Research Park to the West and the Easterwood Airport to the south.

The Residences at University will include 142 units with access to the University Campus and Bus Route is provided by the TXDOT redesign of the site’s intersection, including connecting pedestrian hike and bike facilities to the property.

John Sharp, Chancellor of The Texas A&M University System, unveiled plans to invest $150 million to create a new research and development campus to help companies move ideas from the laboratory to the marketplace while also offering a new path toward a college degree.  The Riverside campus soon will be transformed into a multi-million technology and testing research hub, while a unique educational center will be built alongside it.
